Diplôme et expérience

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in mechanical adjusting (turning, milling and grinding) ;
  • High school diploma in machining combined with an Attestation of Vocational Specialization (AVS) or technical school diploma (or equivalent).

Langue parlée

  • Advanced French
  • Intermediate English
  • Spanish an asset

Langue écrite

  • Advanced French
  • Beginner English

Horaire

  • 40 hours per week (full time)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development of molds in the factory and with the customer ;
  • Advise developers on the technical aspects ;
  • Install the molds  on the press and adjust the mechanical components ;
  • Set the parameters of the press ;
  • Proceed with first injections and make adjustments ;
  • Prepare the molded parts for presentation to the customer.

Profile

  • Knowledge of manufacturing and welding;
  • Knowledge of mold injection (plastic and rubber);
  • Independent and resourceful;
  • Quality concerned and meticulous;
  • Skill for reading plans (2D and 3D drawings);
  • Safe work behavior concerned;
  • Customer contact skills;
  • Ability to interpret plans and 3D drawings.
