- Glasses thickness inconsistency variation result in excessive flash and broken glasses (Low efficiency, downtime, necessary re-work…)
- Glass suppliers component cost is excessively high due to a very tight spec requirements & tolerances.
Our Goals
Technical: Design in-mold automated self-adjustment system
Commercial: Increase encapsulation process flexibility regarding the glasses thickness variation which results in a lower cost product.
Our Concept
Our technological advancement is a automatic self-adjustment system using a hydraulic mechanism. This automatically adjust the mold cavity gap, cycle after cycle, part after part.
